11th Annual Kenbrook Enchanted Hike

Our entire school and community are invited to come into the woods behind Kenbrook on Friday, Oct. 28th at 7 PM.  Families will transform the woods into a truly enchanting experience!  This event is similar to the zoo boo!  Children dress up in costume and wind through the decorated woods, collecting candy at the stations along the way.  They’ll look for fairies hiding behind trees making for a magical experience!

Admission this year is $2 per person.  Proceeds will go to the PTA.  Flashlights will be required to enter the woods.  We will be renting a limited supply of flashlights in the event you forget yours.  Proper shoes must be worn to hike in the woods.  Remember that it is woods, and filled with all kids of twists, turns and bumps!

Candy Collection:  Beginning Monday, Oct. 24th, we will begin our candy collection.  This is how we stock each station in the woods – using donations from our wonderful families!  The candy collection will take place first thing in the morning before school starts every day next week.  At the end of each hallway we will have volunteers passing out a token of appreciation for the bag of candy.  We will also be handing out luminary bags to be decorated and returned to the office.  These bags will be used to light the path in the woods!  On a final note, please remember that this is NOT a nut-free event.  Thank you!
